On successful completion of the training programme and the exam formulated by the ministry, cadets will hold the certificate of competency to sail as third officer on board foreign-going ships from one of the best institutes for marine training in Sri Lanka.

The environment in which the training programme is conducted simulates life at sea, and helps trainees adjust to life on a ship and the challenges of seafaring. Our training facility is inspired by a German system of teaching and also ensures that trainees gain international exposure, while they follow their dream of becoming high-ranking officers and ultimately, a Ship’s Captain.
